Introduction to French for Young Children
Our Wednesday French Fun Camp introduces children to the French language through an exciting mix of games, songs, stories, movement, and hands-on creative activities! From learning their first French words and expressions to exploring French culture through playful challenges and imaginative projects, campers will discover just how much fun learning a new language can be!
Each three-hour session is thoughtfully designed with age-appropriate activities, plenty of variety, and regular brain breaks to keep children engaged, active, and curious. Whether they are singing, creating, playing, or discovering something new, children will have opportunities to hear, understand, and begin using French in a relaxed, encouraging environment.
Two age groups available:
Ages 3–5: Play-based discovery with songs, movement, stories, sensory activities, and simple creative projects.
Ages 6–9: Interactive games, creative challenges, hands-on projects, and playful opportunities to practice speaking French.
No previous French experience needed. Just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to have fun!
Logistics:
-Class meets in person; Monday 3:30pm-4:30pm (August 17-December 7; 14 weeks)
-Class duration: 15 weeks = 15 sessions; 3 hours each
-Class taught in French
-Group size: up to 12 students
-Materials: No textbook required in this course

$15 class transfer fee
15% of class tuition is cancellation fee, with the remainder as credit on file, up to 14 days prior to class start
