Introduction to French to Young Children, Sequence II (with previous experience or heritage speakers)
Petites Étoiles – Suite builds on children’s prior French knowledge in a playful and interactive way. In this class, children will use verbs such as être, avoir, and common action verbs in short sentences and simple questions. They will expand their vocabulary across topics including family, emotions, animals, food, nature, clothing, and transportation. The class also introduces early writing, with tracing of letters, words, and short phrases. Through songs, stories, games, and creative activities, children actively practice and reinforce their skills. This class is perfect for children who are ready to build confidence and joyfully expand their French abilities.
Logistics:
-Class meets in person; Mondays 3:30pm-4:30pm (January 12-May 4; 14 weeks)
-Class duration: 14 weeks = 14 sessions; 60 min. each
-Class taught in French
-Group size: up to 10 students
-Location: 1790 30th st., suite 245, Boulder, CO
-Materials: No textbook required in this course

PER CLASS:
$15 class transfer fee
15% of class tuition is cancellation fee, with the remainder as credit on file, up to 14 days prior to class start
