🎄La Magie de Noël ! (no French experience necessary)
French holiday traditions, fancy crafts, Christmas treats & our own Marché de Noël
Step into the magic of Christmas—à la française ! Over one or two festive days, we will explore some of France’s most delightful holiday traditions through creating, tasting, playing, and plenty of Christmas cheer.
We will make our own beautiful Christmas ornaments and decorations, decorate festive cookies, discover French Christmas treats, play holiday games, and learn the French words and expressions that go with the season. And for the grand finale, we will create our very own Marché de Noël, with little stands, handmade creations, play money, and plenty of opportunities to buy, sell, and interact en français.
Expect glitter, delicious smells, festive music, beautiful creations to take home—and a little taste of a French Christmas right here in Boulder!
Each day will feature different activities, so children can join us for one day or both for the full Magie de Noël experience!
Logistics:
Class meets in person; Monday, December 21-Tuesday, December 22
1-day or 2-day options available (select from menu below)
Ages 5–9: 9:00am–1:00pm (4 hours)
Ages 10–14: 2:00pm–5:00pm (3 hours)
Class taught in French
Group size: 4-10 students per group
Location: 1790 30th St., Suite 245, Boulder, CO
Materials: No textbook required for this workshop
