


French Immersion Day for Kids (Ages 7–10) – Fantastic City Detectives & Enchanted Animals Adventure (Fall'25)
Join us for a magical day of French-language adventure, where children become both city detectives and animal explorers! This immersive workshop combines mystery-solving with imaginative play to build vocabulary, listening, and speaking skills in a fun, hands-on way.
Throughout the day, participants will:
Crack city mysteries by following clues, exploring streets, shops, and cafés, and practicing practical phrases in French.
Meet enchanted animals and bring them to life through roleplay, describing their colors, actions, and personalities.
Create an Adventurer’s Journal, documenting both their detective findings and animal encounters in French.
Perform skits and interactive activities, blending problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork.
By the end of the day, young learners will have strengthened their confidence in using French, expanded their vocabulary, and experienced the excitement of solving mysteries and discovering magical creatures—all in French!
Logistics:
-Class meets in person; Monday, November 10 @ 9:00am-11:30am & 1:00-3:30pm (two 2.5-hour sessions: morning and afternoon)
*** Important Note: No lunch or child supervision is provided between sessions. Parents must pick up their children promptly for the lunch pause between sessions.
-Course duration: two 2.5-hour session: morning and afternoon
-Prerequisite: some FREN 101 or equivalent
-Group size: 3-8 students
