In-Person French Summer Camps for Absolute Beginners

Our in-person French summer camps are thoughtfully designed for beginnersno prior knowledge of French is required, but students with previous knowledge are welcome!

Each day is filled with engaging, age-appropriate activities that introduce French in a fun, hands-on, and low-pressure environment. Learning is light and joyful—because that’s how children learn best!

Our small group classes for kids are limited to a maximum of twelve (12) students, ensuring personalized attention and an engaging learning environment.

Daily Camp Structure (Sample Schedule)

  • First 15 Minutes – Settle In:
Campers ease into the day with calm, welcoming activities like coloring, free drawing, etc. all designed to gently transition into French.

  • Circle Time:
We gather together for greetings, songs, and a story. This time helps set the theme and tone for the day.

  • Themed Activities:
These hands-on experiences—crafts, music, learning activities, movement, games, and stories—are tied to the week’s theme and designed to introduce useful vocabulary in context.

  • Brain Breaks:
To keep energy and focus balanced, we incorporate short breaks such as gentle yoga, simple dance routines, and calming “mini” meditations. These moments help children reset and re-engage with ease.

If a student prefers not to join a particular activity—such as dance, guided movement or meditation—they are always welcome to choose an alternative like drawing, reading, or continuing a creative project. We encourage participation, but always respect each child’s comfort and individuality.

Our use of English is minimal and intentional—sessions are age-appropriate, thoughtfully designed with beginners in mind, and always focused on making French feel fun, accessible, and pressure-free.
