This dynamic course invites intermediate to advanced learners to deepen their French through creativity, self-expression, and meaningful communication. Each week explores a different artistic or expressive theme—ranging from storytelling and poetry to visual art, drama, and personal narrative—while reinforcing core language skills such as vocabulary, grammar in context, and pronunciation. In a supportive, low-pressure environment, students will participate in fun, hands-on projects, guided discussions, and short creative presentations, all designed to spark imagination and strengthen fluency. From crafting a collage inspired by a favorite artist to performing an original scene or sharing a poetic reflection, learners will discover new ways to make the French language their own.
Whether you’re a writer, visual thinker, or simply someone looking for a more playful and personal way to engage with French, Ateliers d’Expression Créative offers a unique and enriching path to linguistic confidence.
Logistics:
-Class meets in person, once a week; Saturdays, 1:00pm-2:30pm (August 30-November 29; 13 weeks)
-Course duration: 13 weeks = 13 class sessions; 90-min. each
-Prerequisite: FREN 102 or equivalent.
-Class taught in French (level: B1-C1)
-Group size: up to 12 students
