This advanced conversation course is designed for learners who already communicate with confidence in French and are ready to go further. Through thought-provoking discussions, cultural analysis, and nuanced language practice, you’ll sharpen your ability to express ideas clearly, naturally, and with greater sophistication. Each session centers on a theme — ranging from contemporary issues and cultural trends to literature, cinema, or current events — encouraging rich vocabulary development, spontaneous speaking, and active listening. You'll also have the opportunity to lead or co-lead discussions, prepare short presentations, and refine your grammar in context.
Whether your goal is professional fluency, cultural immersion, or simply the joy of speaking French at a high level, Conversation Avancée offers an intellectually stimulating and supportive space to grow.
Logistics:
-Class meets in person, once a week; Wednesdays 6:00pm-7:30pm (January 14-April 22; 14 weeks)
-Course duration: 14 weeks = 14 class sessions; 90-min. each
-Prerequisite: FREN 202 or equivalent
-Class taught in French (level: B2-C1)
-Location: 1790 30th st., suite 245, Boulder, CO
-Group size: up to 10 students

$15 class transfer fee
15% of class tuition is cancellation fee, with the remainder as credit on file, up to 14 days prior to class start
